Change Settings
This page explains how to change the app settings.
(Please refer to other pages for explanations of the settings items themselves)
How to Change Settings
VRHandsFrame settings can be changed from the "SteamVR Dashboard" or "Desktop Window".
Change Settings from the SteamVR dashboard
Select the VRHandsFrame icon at the bottom of the SteamVR Dashboard to display the settings screen on the dashboard.
SteamVR Dashboard is the screen that appears when you press the system button (start button) on the controller while SteamVR is running.
Change Settings from the Desktop Window
When VRHandsFrame is running, VRHandsFrame icon will be displayed on the task tray.
You can display the settings window by selecting the icon.
- The settings window will be hidden in the task tray when minimized or inactive. If you want to keep it always visible, change the settings.
- If the settings window is active, VRHandsFrame's CPU usage will increase slightly. If you are concerned about CPU usage, deactivate the window after completing the settings.
UnityPlayer command line arguments (for advanced users)
You can specify the Unity Standalone Player's command line arguments as launch options. Set it from the app properties on the Steam client.
VRHandsFrame depends on Direct3D 11. If you use an option that specifies a different graphics API, it will not work properly.
